The Iowa Newspaper Foundation focuses on the continued education of Iowa's newspaper staffs.

INA members annually have access to dozens of experts in all fields of the newspaper business through workshops, seminars and webinars sponsored by the Iowa Newspaper Foundation. The INA Convention and Trade Show, regional seminars and the Mauck-Stoufer Professional Improvement Workshop are regularly offered, in addition to special training sessions suggested by the INF Seminar Committee. Online Media Campus, a partnership of the Southern Newspaper Publishers Association, the Iowa Newspaper Foundation and press associations throughout the United States and Canada, provides high-quality, low-cost online training to media professionals.

Topics covered by seminars and webinars throughout the year include advertising, copy editing, photography, basic reporting, sportswriting, newspaper design, ag reporting, public notice advertising, technology, social networking and more. These seminars and webinars are offered to members at a low cost thanks to funding from the Foundation.
