The INA News Bureau is a partnership between INA and Lee Enterprises. INA and Lee Enterprises understand how important it is for newspapers to continually improve their services to readers. That’s why they have teamed up to provide an affordable way for all member newspapers to give their readers a current look at state political events. The INA News Bureau offers all INA member newspapers the opportunity to publish timely, informative and engaging coverage of state government and politics.

The INA News Bureau offers INA members three subscription options:

People’s Business Column
The People’s Business is a weekly column written by Charlotte Eby that offers a common-sense look at Iowa’s political scene. Newspapers can receive this weekly column at a rate of $9 per month.

Graphics Service
Four informative and engaging news infographics will be sent to newspapers each month if they subscribe to the Graphics Service. They work well for use as stand-alone graphics or to illustrate stories. The fee for the Graphics Service is $10 per month.


Comprehensive Syndicated Coverage
The INA News Bureau also offers syndicated coverage, which gives subscribers the weekly People’s Business column and the monthly graphics service as well as additional news coverage including:

Weekly Preview – a heads-up on all major legislative actions of the coming week

Legislative Coverage –

• Average of four stories a day during the legislative session

Syndicated coverage can be purchased at a rate of $80 per month for weekly newspapers. The rate for daily newspapers is based on circulation: $8 per thousand per month with $80 per month minimum.
